No sound after every commercial?

I have a reg box hooked to my tv im using my tvs sound I have an xbox & a pc hooked up to it & when using the other devices I have no sound loss what so ever however when watching TV after the commercial is over and the show comes back its muted if i ch up n go back it returns but is there a way to fix this?
