Netgear CG3000D

I have been using the netgear cg3000d for more than a year.

Recently however, it seems as though the internet connection to my pc will just drop connection.

As I am using a wired connection, I have not noticed any other issue.

I have also tried to apply a static ip address to my pc, but that doesn't seem to work either.

I have checked the modem status and it says it has been online constantly.

When I check the connection on the lower right corner of my Windows desktop, it shows the loss of connection and it says that it failed to receive a dynamic ip.
