iPhone removing email

Hi,

I recently set up my cox email on my iphone with little problem.  But recently I have noticed when I go and check my email on my Laptop, the emails already received on my iphone automatically remove themselves with no trace of having ever been on the phone.  Does anyone know how I could fix this problem?
