Email address availability
I may move to an address not serviced by Cox, but instead by Comcast. If I do, is there a way I can I keep my Cox email account? One of your representatives said it may be possible to have a "virtual account" but when she tried to transfer me to someone who would have more information my call got dropped.

Cox no longer offers the option to retain email when you disconnect Internet service. They used to way back when, but not anymore.

I'm sorry that your call was dropped while trying to get an answer to your question! Chris is correct. You might want to check into Gmail by Google. I have a feeling that Gmail/Google will be around for a long, long time! (And, it's free.)
