DVR Index/review

With the continued increase in content storage, the current Viewing of the DVR listing seems very cumbersome. I can't remember if I've recorded a program before, I not interested in most of the items my son or daughter record, but have to go through a lengthy list,...  Is there any plan for adding meta data to the recordings such as (owner/recorder,  type (ie. comedy, horror, ...), artist,... Thanks.
