cox mobile connect failure

i recently downloaded the cox mobile connect app on my iphone 5. but when i try to sign in, it tells me the server is unavailable and to refer to mobile connect "support & care" feature. i have tried deleting, reinstalling and signing in several times over the last two weeks with no success. does anyone know how to fix this?
