Contour Box Not Retaining Video Settings

The video settings that I select are not being retained when I turn the unit off.  I set Resolution at 1080i and Output Format at Stretch 4:3 Pic.  However, if I turn the set off those settings are lost and return to a default setting of 480p standard and Zoom 16:9 Pic, and I have to go into Settings, Video Output Format and reset the Resolution and Output Format.  It keeps the settings until such time as the unit is turned off.    The audio settings remain intact, and I have no problem with them.  Everything else functions well.
