change to self install

hey,

       I just moved to a new apartment and am getting cox for the first time(under my name)

when i signed up my only option was professional install. the fee is no problem and i do not mind paying it 

but is there any chance that i can try to self install before he is able to come? which will be a week from now

i have my own modem which i'v used on a different acct and worked fine and have been through the activation process (same general area of service)

i would like to be setup and running today or tomorrow. even if i still have to pay the install fee, i am fine with that. I just want internet today. 

also if i can do the "self-install" and everything works out will i have to pay a self install and a professional install?
