Another Cox email outage - bungled handling of same.
So, I try to read my email via thunderbird this morning, and the connection repeatedly times out.
**! another Cox email outage, I think. I wonder how much email I will lose this time. Then I try to read email on the Cox website and get the blank page we were getting during last week's outage, but, oh, there is a message saying this is a planned downtime.
Here's a clue, Cox. You showed that you were able to email every Cox customer just a few days ago when you sent the email about all backed up messages having been sent. Why do you not send in advance an email to every Cox customer when you know in advance that you will be taking a system down later for maintenance???????
