MLB Extra Innings

I have used MLB Extra Innings in the past and want to continue use. I attempted to subscribe to MLB TV so i could watch preseason and post season baseball games. I tried to do this through ESPN because Disney now owns MLB TV. I was referred to COX because I am a Cox subscriber. Cox is unavailable until the new season starts, no preseason games, same price as MLB TV on ESPN. How can I subscribe to Extra Innings and MLB TV? I suspect another Disney Mouse Trap. I hope I'm wrong.

Pq5, we'd be more than happy to look into this for you. Please email us at cox.help@co.com, and include a link to this forums post.

@StephanieS Unless OP's issue is account related, anyone wanting to subscribe to MLB Extra Innings may have similar questions.  It could be helpful to them if Cox provided general "how to" information here in the forum.

CurtB, it's my understanding that there will not be any changes to the MLB Extra Innings Package. The customer can reach out, and we can add that to the customers account. I'm also seeing that customers can order via the Sports & Events section on Cox.com or via the Contour TV menu.

@StephanieS Extra Innings remains available, MLB TV in the paid section is not available through Cox until opening day. Unless this has changed, MLB will not be available until the end of March for a subscription fee,  No. Spring Training games are not available except for selected games on Extra Innings, All games are available on MLB TV. I have followed every instruction available from COX and ESPN. Cox is providing ESPN Unlimited which is required for MLB TV, COX MLB TV is not available until late March. I have even tried subscribing to ESPN independent of COX but it continues to deny my access to MLB TV because I am a Cox subscriber. Direct TV and some others don't seem to have this problem, but I don't know from experience. I've been a Cox subscriber since before it was Cox and I'm not changing because of baseball games. It's not fair to pay the same subscription fee for fewer games. I'm too old to commit to long discussions concerning this and much too old to deal with Disney. There are no issues with my account and never have been. The subscription fee for subscribing to both Disney's ESPN and MTV independent from Cox is cost prohibitive. The ESPN subscription is included in the Cox subscription with MLB TV an add on.

Hello. You are correct that other app subscriptions are handled independently.

@Allan But controlled through Cox. Not entirely independent, MLB TV through Cox is delivered through PPV channels or through the ESPN and MLB TV App. Neither will allow a purchase until opening day.
